Why does my dog want to eat this?
This is he. (Brutus).
Unlike all other dogs of my acquaintance, he is deeply cautious about ingesting the time-honored and definitively-carnivorous comestible -- raw meat.He does partake of other dog-favorites like other species' scat, very ripe road kill, and anything left unguarded on the counter.
But...
soap?
Any blog that discusses scatological ingestion is a new favorite.

ReplyDeleteWashing his own mouth out with soap? Obviously a guilt reaction to childhood profanity.
ReplyDeleteHe's eating it because he said something bad and he's washing his own mouth out. You must be very very careful what you say around dogs. They pick up everything and they're so riddled with guilt thereafter. Honestly. Even for a day? Can't you control yourself?
